April NCWIN luncheon: Summer Stephan speaks on Human Trafficking Awareness and Community Action.

Join us on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, for an important and informative presentation with San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan.

Human trafficking is a growing issue affecting communities across the country, including here in San Diego County. In this powerful presentation, District Attorney Stephan will share insights into the realities of human trafficking, the warning signs to watch for, and the work being done locally to combat this serious crime.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how trafficking impacts our community and learn practical ways individuals and businesses can help raise awareness, support prevention efforts, and protect vulnerable members of our community.

This meaningful program reflects NCWIN’s commitment to community awareness, education, and positive impact.

About the Speaker

Summer Stephan
San Diego County District Attorney

Summer Stephan is the elected District Attorney for San Diego County and a nationally recognized leader in the fight against human trafficking. She has devoted her career to protecting victims and strengthening community safety through innovative prevention and prosecution strategies.

As District Attorney, Stephan leads one of the largest DA offices in the nation and has launched major initiatives addressing human trafficking, organized crime, and public safety while building strong partnerships with law enforcement and the community.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made by the Wednesday before the event will receive a credit for a future luncheon.

We do not offer refunds for late cancellations or non-attendance.
